Rule (effective January 28, 1996): OSC Rule - 55-501 - Insider Report Form

 

NOTICE RE RULE ON INSIDER REPORT

 

In the November 24, 1995 issue of the OSC Bulletin, (1995) 18 OSCB 5536, notice wasgiven that, on November 14, 1995, the Commission approved a rule (the "Rule")prescribing a new form for insider reporting. The Commission also approved aregulation (the "Regulation") revoking section 165 and Form 36 of Regulation 1015which conflict with the Rule. Both the Rule and the Regulation were sent to the Ministerof Finance on November 22, 1995 for approval.

On January 12, 1995, the Minister approved both the Rule and the Regulation.Pursuant to subsection 143.4(1) of the Act, the Rule came into force on January 28,1996. The Regulation was filed on February 1, 1996 with the Registrar of Regulationsas O. Reg. 13/96 and became effective on the same date.

2. Form 36 of the Regulation is revoked.
