RSS Help

If you are unable to subscribe to a feed, your web browser may not have a built-in RSS reader. For example, Internet Explorer 6.0 and Chrome do not come with an RSS reader. You can access RSS by upgrading your software or installing a plug-in or extension, downloading an RSS reader or using a web-based RSS reader.

You can also contact us if you have any questions about subscribing to our RSS feeds.

If you use Internet Explorer 6.0

To access RSS, you can:
  • upgrade to latest version of Internet Explorer, or
  • download and install an RSS plug-in designed for Internet Explorer 6.0
Upgrading to latest version of Internet Explorer is likely your best option. It’s easy to do and it’s free. You can download newest version of Internet Explorer from Microsoft.

Download an RSS reader

A number of free and commercial RSS readers are available to download. Many are separate, “standalone” applications. Use your favourite search engine to find links where you can download an RSS reader.

Use a web-based RSS reader

If you don’t want to download and install a dedicated RSS reader, you can use a web-based service, such as iGoogle, My Yahoo! or Bloglines. Follow the instructions provided by the web-based service.

About RSS

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) allows you to view news items, web and blog postings, videos and other data files from various sources in one place. Once you subscribe to a feed, you will automatically receive new content as soon as it’s published.

An RSS reader allows you to subscribe to and view RSS feeds on your computer. It will regularly check the feeds you have subscribed to and bring updated information to your attention.
