OSC Chair and CEO Maureen Jensen to Deliver First Keynote Address on September 27, 2016

TORONTO – Maureen Jensen, Chair and CEO of the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC), will be delivering her first keynote address on September 27, 2016 at the Toronto Region Board of Trade.

Chair Jensen’s keynote address, Protecting Investors, Fostering Confidence: New Initiatives from the OSC, will outline game-changing initiatives by regulators and what these initiatives will mean for market participants and investors.

Chair Jensen will discuss timely industry topics in her remarks, including the proposed best interest standard, regulatory consideration of mutual fund fees and the launch of the OSC’s Office of the Whistleblower.
