The OSC roundtable will take place on the morning of Tuesday, June 9, 2015 on the 22nd floor of the Commission’s offices, located at 20 Queen Street West in Toronto, Ontario.

The event will feature panel discussions reflecting the viewpoints of investors, market participants, members of the securities litigation bar and other stakeholders. Specific themes will include: Effectiveness of whistleblower programs, whistleblower protections and the impact of a whistleblower program on internal compliance systems.

Interested parties wishing to participate as a panellist at the OSC roundtable are asked to submit written comments on the Consultation Paper by May 4, 2015 and contact Heidi Franken at [email protected] to indicate interest in participating.  Panellists will be selected who reflect a diversity of views, so as to facilitate a balanced debate.

The OSC expects to provide additional details, including the final agenda and list of panellists, no later than June 2, 2015.
