Other Requirements
Investment funds may also be subject to other continuous disclosure requirements set out in National Instrument 81-106 Investment Fund Continuous Disclosure, including:
- filing an annual information form (if the fund doesn’t have a current prospectus)
- reporting their proxy voting record on an annual basis
- sending information circulars in advance of unitholder meetings
Insider Reporting
Mutual fund insiders are exempt from insider reporting requirements but remain subject to restrictions on insider trading and self-dealing. Insiders of other types of investment funds are required to file insider reports.For more information on Insider Reporting, see Information for Companies.
