This part of the website contains:

• instruments currently in effect
• proposed instruments for which the rule or policy-making process is not yet completed
• requests for comments or proposals if the comment period is still open or if a resulting instrument has not yet been published
• all instruments and documents leading up to an instrument currently in effect, such as concept proposals, request for comments, proposed rules and policies
• instruments that are no longer in effect, such as instruments that have been replaced, rescinded or expired
• proposals, background papers, other publications that are inactive or no longer current

Organization:

• PARTS 1 to 9, topical organization consistent with the regulatory numbering system. Documents assigned a number are included here in numerical order. These include National and Multilateral Instruments, Policies, Companion Policies, Concept Proposals, Requests for Comments, CSA Notices, and OSC Staff Notices.
• Unnumbered documents, including unnumbered CSA Notices

Note:

Certain older pre-reformation documents have been re-numbered to harmonize with the reformulation numbering scheme, but are not on the OSC website as electronic copies do not currently exist. As well, certain older documents are still in the process of being reformulated (ex., old OSC Policy 2.1 - Applications to the OSC). For a list of new documents and concordance of all older documents, please see the "Table of Concordance", under the heading "Rules, Policies, & Notices".
