NOTICE OF MINISTER OF FINANCE APPROVAL OF FINAL RULES UNDER THE SECURITIES ACT AND THE COMMODITY FUTURES ACT
MULTILATERAL INSTRUMENT 31-102 NATIONAL REGISTRATION DATABASE AND
ONTARIO SECURITIES COMMISSION RULE 31-509 (Commodity Futures Act)
NATIONAL REGISTRATION DATABASE
On January 10th, 2003 the Minister of Finance approved Multilateral Instrument 31-102 National Registration Database and Ontario Securities Commission Rule 31-509 (Commodity Futures Act) National Registration Database. The rules were published for comment in December 2001 and June 2002, and made by the Commission on November 15, 2002.
The rules will come into force on February 3, 2003.
The rules and their companion policies are published in Chapter 5 of the Bulletin and at http://www.osc.gov.on.ca/en/HotTopics/nrd.html#expanded. The rules will be published in the Gazette on February 8th, 2003.
