SHORT FORM PROSPECTUSES AND RENEWAL AIFs

The Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") which was entered into by the securities regulatory authorities in Canada and published in the OSC Bulletin (1996) 19 OSCB 6863 received approval by the Ontario Minister of Finance on February 14, 1997. The MOU expedites the review and receipt of short form prospectuses and the review and acceptance of renewal annual information forms filed in more than one province or territory and provides for continued harmonization of administration of securities legislation
