Amend Security Designation

You can only amend the security designation not the security category. In SEDI a security category and a security designation must be chosen when setting up a new security in the list of outstanding securities for the issuer.
A security Category is one of :
- equity
- debt or
- derivatives
A security designation can be many things, such as common shares, options, convertible debentures or preferred shares.

Steps to amend a security designation follow:

From the Issuer Representative or Agent homepage click Issuer profile supplement in the top navigation bar
The Introduction to issuer profile supplement activities (Form 55-102F3) screen opens

Click Amend issuer profile supplement in the left navigation bar
The left navigation bar expands to offer 4 choices for amendments to the issuer profile supplement
Click Amend security designation
The Amend security designation screen opens
Choose the security to be amended in the list of outstanding securities
Click Next
The File amendment screen opens
Make the required amendment
Click File

Click Printer friendly version to print a copy of the amended issuer profile supplement
Continue filing or click Logout in the top navigation bar
