| How to File an Insider Report for DSUs or RSAs |
Step 1 - Grant of RSA or DSU:
Report the number of DSUs or RSAs awarded and report the equivalent amount of underlying common shares. Use nature code
56 - Grant of rights.
Step 2 - Vesting and distribution of underlying common shares or cash:
When the DSUs or RSAs vest and are settled in underlying common shares, report an acquisition of the relevant number of underlying common shares as one transaction. You will also need to report a disposition of the corresponding number of the DSUs or RSAs, using the same code, as a separate transaction.
When the DSUs or RSAs vest and are settled by a cash payment, report a disposition of the relevant number of the RSA or
DSU.
Step 1 - Grant of SAR
Report the number of SAR awarded, the exercise price, and the equivalent amount of underlying common shares.
Use nature of transaction code 56 - Grant of rights.
Step 2 - Vesting and distribution of cash
Report a disposition of the relevant number of SAR
